In an effort to grow the brand to customers who normally buy imports, Lincoln will offer up a full-size crossover, the MKT, that is due in dealerships in late summer. American Honda Motor Co. will break out big-time celebrities and comedic license in a pair of 60-second TV commercials that will run during the Super Bowl. An Acura spot--the first Super Bowl appearance for the brand--will feature comedian Jerry Seinfeld going to ridiculous lengths to bribe the man who holds the rights to the first 2015 Acura NSX supercar.
Chrysler is looking to add a little sport to the Chrysler 200 sedan and convertible with the addition of the S trim line. Don't expect anything too extreme--the S package consists of some interior and exterior upgrades, and a few suspension revisions. Changes include unique 18-inch wheels with painted black pockets, a grille with an S model-only winged badge and black background headlights.
